What you set up for a cleaning service
Each cleaning service you create in the app has its own details, so customers know exactly what they’re booking.
Cleaning types
Choose what you offer: residential cleaning, office cleaning, deep cleaning and move-in / move-out cleaning.
Hourly rate and minimum booking
Set your price per hour and the minimum number of hours a customer has to book.
Supplies
Say whether you bring your own cleaning supplies or the customer provides them.
Availability and service area
Pick the hours you work each week and the area you cover. Customers only see time slots you’ve opened.
How customers book a cleaning
- 01
A customer nearby finds your service
Customers use the Tangle app to find cleaning services in their area and see your description, rate and reviews.
- 02
They book an open slot
They pick a time from your availability. The payment is authorized on their card when they book.
- 03
You clean and get paid
Message the customer about access or details, do the job, then confirm the final amount — you can add hours if the clean ran longer. Payment goes to your Stripe account.
Bookings, not leads
On lead-generation sites, you pay for a customer’s contact details and then compete with other cleaners for the job — with no guarantee it turns into work.
Tangle works differently: customers book a time you’ve already made available, at the rate you’ve set. You don’t pay per lead. Tangle’s commission comes out of bookings you’re paid for, and it’s itemized on each booking receipt.
Questions from providers
Do I pay for leads on Tangle Pro?
No. Customers book you directly, so there are no leads to buy. Tangle takes a commission from bookings you’re paid for, shown on each receipt.
Can I choose which days and hours I work?
Yes. You set your weekly availability in one-hour blocks and can change it anytime. Customers can only book times you’ve opened.
Do I have to bring my own supplies?
That’s up to you. Each cleaning service states whether you bring supplies or the customer provides them.
How do I get paid?
Payments run through Stripe. You connect a Stripe account during onboarding (identity verification and bank details), and booking payments are paid out there.
